sentier piétonnier entre le secteur Hunt Club et le Transitway Sud-Est
That the Transportation
Committee recommend Council approve:
1.
The Environmental Assessment study's recommended plan for the
pathway connection between the Hunt Club community (at Cahill Drive West) and
the Southeast Transitway (at the South Keys Transitway station) as detailed in
this report; and
2.
The finalization of the Environmental Study Report for the Hunt Club
Community Pathway Connection to the Southeast Transitway project and posting of
the Notice of Study Completion.

transports recommande au Conseil :
1.
d'approuver le plan
pour un sentier entre le quartier Hunt Club (à la promenade Cahill Ouest) et le
Transitway Sud-Est (à la station South Keys), recommandé dans l'étude
d'évaluation environnementale, comme il est expliqué en détail dans le présent
rapport;
2.
l’achèvement du
rapport d'étude environnementale concernant un sentier entre le quartier Hunt
Club et le Transitway Sud-Est et l’affichage de l'avis d'achèvement d'étude.

That the Transportation Committee recommend that Council direct
staff in the Infrastructure Services
& Community Sustainability Portfolio, Planning and Growth Management Department and the City
Operations Portfolio, Public Works and Services Department to partner with the
Quartier Vanier BIA and its consultants to provide support and assistance as
needed to complete a study for the closure of certain streets on Montréal Road
as previously identified in the City of Ottawa Official Plan.
Que le Comité des transports
recommande au Conseil d’indiquer à son personnel responsable du portefeuille
des Services d’infrastructure et de la Viabilité des collectivités, du service d’Urbanisme et de Gestion de la croissance,
du portefeuille des Opérations municipales et des Services et Travaux
publics de faire équipe avec les responsables de la ZAC du Quartier Vanier et
avec leurs consultants pour leur offrir aide et soutien, si nécessaire, afin de
terminer l’étude sur la fermeture de certaines rues croisant le chemin Montréal
conformément aux recommandations émises au préalable dans le Plan officiel de
la Ville d’Ottawa.

DE CRÉER DES VOIES CYCLABLES SÉPARÉES - MOTION
That the Transportation Committee direct staff to undertake the following:
1. Identify
locations of potential pedestrian/cyclist/vehicle conflict using available
information such as accident records and report back to Transportation
Committee with a plan on how to minimize collisions at these locations in time
for consideration as part of the 2011 Budget.
2. As part of the above safety review, determine whether
segregated bike lanes would be appropriate in these locations to improve safety
and promote cycling as a mode of transportation.
3. Determine if Members of
Council would be interested in a delegation to Montreal, Burlington (Vermont),
or the Netherlands to observe and learn about cycling initiatives in these
cities and report back to Committee on the transportation and financial
advantages of investing in bicycle infrastructure as these cities have done.
Que le Comité des
transports charge le personnel d’entreprendre ce qui suit :
1. désigner les emplacements de conflit
potentiel entre les piétons, les cyclistes et les automobilistes, à l’aide de
l’information disponible, comme les rapports d’accident, et remettre au Comité
des transports un plan indiquant comment limiter les collisions à ces endroits,
en temps opportun pour la préparation du budget de 2011;
2. dans le cadre de l’examen de sécurité
décrit ci-dessus, déterminer si des voies cyclables séparées seraient
appropriées à ces endroits afin d’améliorer la sécurité et de promouvoir le
vélo comme moyen de transport;
3. déterminer
si les membres du Conseil souhaiteraient déléguer des représentants à Montréal,
Burlington (Vermont) ou aux Pays-Bas, afin d’analyser la situation à ces
endroits et de connaître les projets de cyclisme qui y sont menés, et rendre
compte au Comité des avantages, en matière financière et de transport, d’un investissement
dans une infrastructure cyclable, comme ces villes l’ont fait.
That the Transportation Committee recommend that Council approve:
1. That
the Director
of Real Estate Partnership and Development Office be authorized to enter into a License of Occupation agreement on behalf
of the City with the Owner in accordance with the terms and conditions as set
out in Document 1, which terms and conditions will provide a 10 year term for
the License of Occupation agreement with a nominal yearly fee of $1.00 for the
10 year term, which will be subject to renegotiation for further renewals based
on applicable City land lease policy in place thereafter.
2. That the Deputy City Manager,
Infrastructure Services and Community Sustainability provide for the issuance
of the required road cut permit to allow the Owner to undertake the proposed
improvements subject to all technical matters related to the works being to the
satisfaction of the Deputy City Manager and subject to any securities as set
out in Document 1 being posted.

transports recommande au Conseil d’approuver :
1. Que le directeur
du Bureau des partenariats et du développement en immobilier soit autorisé à délivrer un permis
d’occupation au Propriétaire au nom de la Ville conformément aux modalités
établies dans le document 1, lesquelles prévoient que le permis d’occupation
durera 10 ans moyennant des frais annuels modiques de 1 $ pendant ces
10 ans et qu’il pourra être renouvelé en fonction de la politique
municipal en vigueur concernant les baux fonciers après de nouvelles négociations
par la suite.
2. Que
le directrice municipale adjointe, Services d’infrastructure et de la viabilité
des collectivités, permette la délivrance du permis de terrassement requis pour
que le Propriétaire procède aux améliorations proposées, sous réserve de la
conformité de tous les éléments techniques liés aux travaux aux règles, à la
satisfaction du directeur général, et de l’affichage des valeurs, comme le
stipule le document 1.
