Exhibit #2Typical Cross Sections

Exhibit #2 is a drawing which illustrates typical widened cross sections for the Western and Eastern Sections of the corridor:

Typical 6‑lane Cross Section Highway 417 to Blair ( 43 metre Right‑of‑way*)

1.25m wide medians (without median breaks) separating opposing left-turn lanes between most intersections;

•               2.0m wide sidewalks on both sides of the road, with no inner boulevard except in some specific "bulbed" areas in advance of right-turn auxiliary lanes;

•               1.5m wide curbside cycling lane in each direction;

•               three 3.5m wide driving lanes in each direction;

•               signalization at each major intersection;

•               except where noted, right-turn channelization and right-turn acceleration (merging) lanes are not provided in the preferred design; and

•               all left-turn lanes are 3.5m wide.

Typical 4‑lane Cross Section Orlιans Boulevard to Trim Road (34 metre Right‑of‑way*)

All segments have the following basic cross sectional elements:

•               5.0m wide median, with median breaks provided for specific property access requirements and left-turn lanes at specific intersections;

•               2.0m wide sidewalks on both sides of the road, with a 1.5 m inner boulevard distance that can vary in some areas where there is constrained or additional property within the ROW;

•               a 2.0m wide curbside cycling lane in each direction; and

•               two 3.5m wide driving lanes in each direction.

*    These widths are typical right-of-ways.  Actual widths vary depending on corridor constraints or opportunities.
