The Ottawa Mission (formerly the Union Mission for Men) was established in 1906 to help men experiencing homelessness. It has been at its current heritage location at the busy corner of Waller and Daly Avenue since 1912. It currently provides shelter to 236 people each night, serves an average of 1,312 meals every day, and also provides programs such as mental health, addiction treatment, primary care, job training and a hospice.
