Collision Reporting Centre

Responding to a question from Member Watson, Chief Bordeleau explained that the anticipated revenue targets associated with the collision reporting centres are expected to be reached this year.  The first year targets fell short due to technical issues that caused delays.  In future, up to 70% of collisions will be diverted from the streets to CRC’s, greatly reducing personnel hours.  The 9,600 hours being saved from this reallocation of resources will be reinvested in the front line.
