That the Ottawa Police Services Board approve the attendance of W. Fedec at the annual conference of the Police Association of Ontario being held in Toronto, Ontario on 4 and 5 March 2013.
Attached is information about the Police Association of Ontario’s 22nd Annual Police Employment Conference being held in Toronto on 4 and 5 March.
The information was previously circulated to Board members to determine their interest in attending. Ms. Fedec, Executive Director, has indicated she would like to attend on behalf of the Ottawa Police Services Board In light of her role in the Board’s collective bargaining process.
The cost of attending this conference is estimated at $1,600 per person. Funds have been allocated for attendance at conferences in the 2013 Police Services Board budget, account #125101-072-502112 and there are sufficient funds to cover this request.
