Summary of Complaint:

In his complaint, the complainant advised there was no police incident per se and no police officer(s) involved.  He added that it was simply a complaint about the OPS fee of $45.00 to have community members’ fingerprints taken when there is a non-volunteer, vulnerable sector match on the RCMP database. 

Summary of Findings and Actions Taken:

The OPS classified this matter as a policy complaint however the Office of the Independent Review Director advised that this complaint was outside their mandate and the matter was closed.
