3. PEACE OFFICER EXEMPLARY SERVICE MEDAL
That the Ottawa Police Services Board write to the Chancellory of Honours expressing support for a change in the eligibility criteria for the Peace Officer Exemplary Service Medal to allow special constables working for municipal police services to receive it.

4. ATTENDANCE AT THE 2012 CANADIAN ASSOCIATION OF POLICE BOARDS ANNUAL CONFERENCE
That the Ottawa Police Services Board approve the attendance of Member Nicholson and Mayor Watson at the 2012 Canadian Association of Police Boards’ Conference being held in Victoria, British Columbia from 16-18 August 2012.

That the Ottawa Police Services Board approve that if Member Nicholson or Mayor Watson are unable to attend the Canadian Association of Police Boards conference, Member Doyle and Chair El-Chantiry will be offered the opportunity to attend.

5. OTTAWA POLICE DRAGON BOAT CLUB: FUNDING REQUEST
That the Ottawa Police Services Board approve a grant in the amount of $500 to assist the Ottawa Police Dragon Boat Club in representing the Ottawa Police Service at the “Washington DC Dragon Boat Festival” boat race on May 19 and 20, 2012.

6. NEW APPOINTMENT OF SPECIAL CONSTABLES – R.C.M.P.
That the Ottawa Police Services Board approve the appointment of Kelly Lynn Fekete, John S. Graziano, Tony M. Jay and William Dwight M. Neil as Special Constables, pursuant to Section 53(3) of the Police Services Act, in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in the attached Approval of Appointment form.

7. RE-APPOINTMENT OF SPECIAL CONSTABLES – OTTAWA POLICE SERVICE
That the Ottawa Police Services Board approve the re-appointment of Troy Carson, Charlene Chabot, Glenmore Clark, Aline De La Rosa, Cameron Entwistle, Mark Daniel Johnson, Jennifer Mucz, Romulus Simon and John St. Denis as Special Constables pursuant to Section 53 of the Police Services Act, in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in the attached application form.
