1. 2012 DRAFT OPERATING AND CAPITAL BUDGETS /

BUDGETS D’IMMOBILISATIONS ET DE FONCTIONNEMENT PRÉLIMINAIRES 2012

Presentation by the Chief of Police and the Director General / Présentation par le chef de police et la directrice générale

Documents to be tabled at the meeting / Documents à être déposés à la réunion

That the Ottawa Police Services Board:

1. Receive and table the Ottawa Police Service 2012 Draft Operating and Capital Budgets.

2. Consider and approve at its regular meeting on 28 November 2011:

a) The Ottawa Police Service 2012 Draft Operating and Capital Budgets;

b) The reduction of capital authority for the Portable Radio Replacement (Capital Project No. 903450) from $10.5 million to $6.8 million;

c) The creation of the Ottawa Police Service Facilities Strategic Plan Reserve Fund.

3. Upon approval, forward the Ottawa Police Service Operating and Capital Budgets and related motions to Council for review and approval.

Que la Commission de services policiers d’Ottawa :

1) reçoive et dépose les Budgets d’immobilisations et de fonctionnement préliminaires 2012 du Service de police d’Ottawa;

2) examine et approuve, lors de sa réunion ordinaire du 28 novembre 2011 :

a) les Budgets d’immobilisations et de fonctionnement préliminaires 2012 du Service de police d’Ottawa.

b) la diminution des autorisations de dépenses en capital pour le remplacement des radios portatives (Projet d’immobilisation n^o 903450) de 10,5 millions de dollars à 6,8 millions de dollars;

c) la création d’un fonds de réserve pour le Plan stratégique des installations du Service de police d’Ottawa.

3) présente au Conseil les Budgets d’immobilisations et de fonctionnement ainsi que les motions connexes du Service de police d’Ottawa, après leur approbation, aux fins d’examen et d’approbation par le Conseil.
