REPORT RECOMMENDATIONS

1. That the Finance and Economic Development Committee receive the attached report and refer it for review and discussion at the following standing committee meetings:

· Transportation Committee – March 7, 2012

· Planning Committee – March 13, 2012

· Environment Committee – March 20, 2012

· Community and Protective Services Committee – March 22, 2012

2. That Council receive the report for information on March 28, 2012 once it has been reviewed by standing committees.

WHEREAS the graph found at the top of page 14 of the Quarterly Performance Report Q4: October 1 to December 31, 2011 (ACS2012-CMR-OCM-0003) contains an error; and

WHEREAS the figures referenced in the graph with respect to “Social Services” are correct (i.e. 1,590 in Q1 of 2010, 1,658 in Q2 of 2010, 1,596 in Q3 of 2010, 1,354 in Q4 of 2010, 2,513 in Q1 of 2011, 4,154 in Q2 of 2011, 4,761 in Q3 of 2011 and 3,085 in Q4 of 2011) but the visual representation of the figure for Q4 of 2011 is incorrect;

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Finance and Economic Development Committee receive and refer this report, notwithstanding the visual error referenced above; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT staff be directed to correct the error (Measure 17: 3-1-1 top five information requests [by quarter, annually]) in advance of the subsequent quarterly report.
