DISPOSITION OF ITEMS APPROVED BY COMMITTEES UNDER DELEGATED AUTHORITY

 

 

For the information of Council, the following item was approved by the Debenture Committee under Delegated Authority, at its meeting of 13 October 2011:

           

1.         DEBENTURE BY-LAW

That the Debenture Committee enact a debenture by-law substantially in the form attached as Document 1 to authorize the issuance of debentures in the total principal amount of $75,000,000.00 where the project debt authority has been approved by Council and the Treasurer has proceeded with one or more debt issues pursuant to Section 15, Schedule “A” of By-law No. 2011-28, as amended by By-Law 2011-293, the Delegation of Authority By-law by finalizing the terms and conditions of such debt issues.

2.         TEMPORARY BORROWING BY-LAW FOR 2012 CURRENT OPERATIONS

That the Debenture Committee approve the enactment of a by-law substantially in the form attached as Document 1, authorizing temporary borrowings for current purposes for the year 2012 in accordance with existing legislation.

By-Law No. 2011-367           A by-law of the City of Ottawa to authorize the borrowing upon installment debentures in the principal amount of $75,000,000.00 towards the cost of certain capital works of the City of Ottawa

 

 

By-Law No. 2011-368           A by-law of the City of Ottawa to authorize the borrowing of monies to meet the current expenditures of the City of Ottawa in 2012 until the taxes are collected and other revenues are received.
