Levy by-laws for Scotiabank Place

Inquiry/Demande de renseignements Motion
WHEREAS the information provided in respect of the Lansdowne Development included a comparison of future property taxes to be collected and future municipal expenditures in order to address “revenue neutrality”;
AND WHERE Scotiabank Place is an existing major sports facility within the City of Ottawa;
AND WHEREAS the levy by-laws for Scotiabank Place are before Council on 14 July 2010;
Staff are requested to identify the property taxes collected in respect of Scotiabank Place for 2008 and 2009 and forecast those to be collected in 2010, and to also identify the municipal expenditures that the City has made in respect to Scotiabank Place for those years.
