Source Separated Organics - Update on Facility, Implementation Timing and Program Design   That staff prepare a report regarding the allocation of the funding of the Source Separated Organics program for consideration at Planning and Environment Committee and Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee and Council. Petition for Installation of Sanitary Sewer Infr for Hillside Gardens and Manotick   Be it resolved that staff be directed to undertake a review of current alternative treatment and collection options for water and wastewater that would include a high level review of the types of situations where these technologies might be advantageous; and,
Be it further resolved that information on measures for environmental clean up be provided and considered at the time of future servicing requests that are a responding to environmental degradation.

One-Cent Campaign                                                                            BE IT RESOLVED THAT: The City of Ottawa direct staff to:                                                             1. Develop an online information package, based on the Toronto model, for the City’s website, which includes a link to the City of Toronto’s one-cent now campaign.
2. Develop an online petition, for City of Ottawa residents, addressed to Ottawa area Members of Parliament.

Recognition policy for past Mayors (Motion 3/29)  

BE IT RESOLVED that staff be directed to report back to Council on a recognition policy for past Mayors.
City Council 14 December 2006 Minutes - December 14, 2006 - City Council City Clerk In Progress - A policy will be established to set out a process for recognizing past mayors and reeves.  It is anticipated that a policy would be brought to Committee and Council in Q2 or Q3 of 2009.
Ottawa Farmer's Market    

 AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that staff undertake a business case study to identify possible permanent locations for the Ottawa Farmers’ Market Association’s Farmers’ Market, including the examination of all possibilities at Lansdowne Park;

The future of the Ottawa Farmers' Market will be considered by Council when the Lansdowne Live proposal or another competitive process is debated
2005 Budget Motion  investigate private outsourcing of the contact centre   THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT staff investigate the possibility of contracting-out the Call Centre using a private sector comparator, and report back to Corporate Services and Economic Development Committee no later than September 2005. 2.      Direct staff to continue to pursue the development of methods that can be used to assess pedestrian safety at intersections, using both the information developed by the Walking Security Index, other analytical techniques, and report to Committee and Council.
