Also, there have been no applications in the Fernbank area and staff will consider these options when applications are received.  A report is expected to go to EC and Council in September 2011 making recommendations on the Plasco Demonstration Facility.  In addition, the City has just initiated a Municipal Waste Master Plan that will evaluate technologies for handling residual waste.  This study is expected to be completed in November 2012.
