That the Corporate Services and Economic Development Committee recommend Council appoint the following persons to the Board of Management of the Wellington West Business Improvement Area, for a term ending November 30, 2010:

d’amélioration commerciale de Wellington West pour un mandat prennant fin le 30

By-law 2008-41 established a Board of Management for the Wellington West Business Improvement Area.
The Board is to consist of nine members appointed by City Council, one of whom shall be a member of Council and the remaining members shall be individuals assessed for business assessment, or tenants of such property, in respect of land in the BIA area, as established by By‑law 2008-40.
The first Annual General Meeting was held on February 19, 2008 and the recommended appointments were approved.
The
BIA undertakes consultation or recruitment of members. This is an administrative matter completed
on behalf of the BIA, therefore public consultation is not required.
There
are no financial implications related to this report.
