1. City of Ottawa Light Rail Transit System – Project Update

Peter van Boeschoten chaired the meeting and welcomed all members.

Chris Brouwer, Senior Planner, Rail Implementation Office was accompanied by Rick Piccolo, Architect, Eileen Jones, Busby, Perkins & Will and Steve Sunderland, Landscape Architect, Corush, Sunderland & Wright. The presenters spoke to a PowerPoint slide presentation, which served to provide members with an extensive overview of the proposed Light Rail Transit System. A copy of this presentation is held on file with the City Clerk and Solicitor’s office pursuant to the City of Ottawa Records Retention and Disposition By-law.

Members voiced various concerns regarding potential accessibility and safety issues within the plan.
