4. Brainstorm
funding opportunities
We feel that it would be great to have sponsorship for this event. The parts of the day that have a cost include coffee breaks, speaker gifts, lunch, and door prizes. The following is a list of possible sponsors organized by theme. It would also be good to hold a carbon neutral event. I will speak with Trees Canada about this. It was determined that lunch would cost approximately $1000. Perhaps a sponsor like the Ottawa Stewardship Council could help us here.

If this idea is to become a reality it will require a subcommittee. There is $200-$300 in the budget for awards.
Poster Area
The local universities and colleges should be contacted to submit posters relating to forestry in the City of Ottawa. This area would also be good to showcase City initiatives like UNAESS and the Greenspace Master Plan.

The following is a list of organizations that should be invited to set up a display at the Fall Forum
