Attached for your review, please find photographs of the lime kilns located at 1912 March Road taken on June 23, 2004. The land the kilns are situated on was sold in June 2003. The present owner is proposing a country estate subdivision of four lots of 2.5 acres. I have spoken with the Planner who is dealing with the application. We will attempt to influence the location of the proposed houses away from the location of the kilns through the plan of subdivision process.

This parcel of land is environmentally sensitive, having wetland and outcrop areas, as well as steep slopes. I anticipate the application process will be lengthier than usual. I will update LACAC regarding the status of the kilns as the application process progresses.
