REPORT RECOMMENDATIONS
That the
French Language Services Advisory Committee approve one of the following
options:
s
cancel its 3 July 2003 meeting;
s
cancel its 7 August 2003 meeting;
s
cancel both of its summer meetings (3 July and 7
August).
Que le Comité consultatif sur les services en français approuve une des
options suivantes :
s
annuler sa réunion du 3
juillet 2003;
s
annuler sa réunion du 7 août
2003;
s
annuler ses deux réunions
estivales (le 3 juillet et le 7 août).
The City of Ottawa Procedure By-law provides for a reduction in the number of meetings to be held in the summer.
City Council and its Standing Committees have agreed to reduce their summer meetings by half. Advisory Committees also have the option of reducing their summer meetings, provided that not more than two successive meetings are cancelled.
