Minutes 20 of the Environmental Advisory Committee meeting of July 12, 2012 were confirmed.

1.	ADVISORY COMMITTEE RENEWAL 
RENOUVELLEMENT DES COMITÉS CONSULTATIFS

Leslie Donnelly provided a verbal briefing on the Advisory Committee Renewal report.

Members asked about the resident expert database that will be available to city staff, the status of motions passed by the EAC, how to pass information to the new Advisory Committee, will Advisory Committee Members be receiving a thank you from the City, how can citizens provide input in the interim to the new committees, reason for the renewal, the possibility of a review after the first year of the new committees,

2.	WILDLIFE STRATEGY UPDATE
MISE A JOUR SUR LA STRATÉGIE CONCERNANT LA FAUNE

Member Lascelles introduced the item.

Nick Stow, Planner III, provided a verbal update on the draft Wildlife Strategy.

Members asked about the steering committee meeting held on September 18, why police are the first responders to reports of wild animals.

3.	EAC WRAP-UP 
RÉSUMÉ DU CCE

Chair Pearman lead the discussion.

ACTION: Vice-Chair to contact a Member of Council about inquiring about the status of past EAC motions and inquiries

ACTION: Member Lascelles to communicate with the Mayor’s office about recognizing current Advisory Committee members.

ACTION: Chair to prepare correspondence to the Environmental Stewardship Advisory Committee
