MINUTES OF MEETING

 

 

The Ottawa-Carleton Regional Transit Commission met at Haydon Hall, Regional Headquarters, 111 Lisgar Street, Ottawa, on Wednesday, 10 May 2000.

The meeting was called to order at 4:00 p.m. with Commission Chair Al Loney presiding.

ALL MEMBERS WERE PRESENT.

 

CONFIRMATION OF MINUTES

The minutes of the Regular Ottawa-Carleton Regional Transit Commission meeting of 12 April 2000 were confirmed.

 

DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST ARISING FROM PRIOR MEETINGS OF THE COMMISSION AND THE TRANSIT SERVICES COMMITTEE

No declarations of interest were filed.

Transplan 2000

 

Committee Recommendations As Amended

That the Commission approve that the service plan for 2000/2001 based on public and employee consultations through Transplan 2000*, be implemented in September 2000, as amended by the following:

That the proposed Route 136 be amended so that it is removed from the north side of Charlemagne and all of Bottriel; and that the Route include 10th

Line from Charlemagne (north side) to Charlemagne (south side) and also Charlemagne from 10th Line to Gardenway Drive.

 

* Service changes for South Nepean and Kanata will be presented to the Commission on 24 May 2000.

RESOLVED THAT By-law 4 of 2000 to confirm the proceedings of the Ottawa-Carleton Regional Transit Commission be enacted and passed.
