That the Corporate Services and Economic Development Committee and Council approve the award of Proposal No. 01299-99037-P01/99 to The ACD Group, LLC, Springfield, Virginia, and IBI Group, Toronto, Ontario, to assist the Ambulance Bid Preparation Team in the preparation, design and development of a Land Ambulance System for a total contract upset limit of $330,000.00.

That the Corporate Services and Economic Development Committee recommend Council:
1. Approve the acquisition of vacant land containing a total area of 1.241 ha from the National Capital Commission required for the Hunt Club Road/Moodie Drive realignment, located in Part of Lots 30 and 31, Concession 4 and 5 (Rideau Front), City of Nepean, shown as Parts 1, 2, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11 on reference Plan 4R- 14822, for the consideration of $16,905, plus GST;
2. Declare as surplus to Regional needs the lands legally described as being Part of the Road Allowance between Lots 30 and 31, Concession 5 (Rideau Front), City of Nepean shown as Part 3 on Plan 4R-14822, containing an area of 0.557 ha;
3. Approve a road closing by-law and sale of land described in Recommendation 2 to the National Capital Commission for $1.00.
