1. The award of Contract CS-6088 to the firm of Toromont Industries Ltd., Concord, for the supply of Cogeneration equipment for the R.O. Pickard Environmental Centre for a total contract provision of $2,493,907.79;

2. An increase in project authority for the Digester Gas Cogeneration Facility from $3,800,000 to $4,772,000. Funds in the amount of $972,000 to be transferred from the Sewer Capital Reserve Fund.

Laflamme Limited, Nepean, for the installation of 47 metres of 1500 millimetre diameter watermain in the amount of $165,850, bringing the revised total contract provision to $1,224,681.

1. The award of Contract No. CW-4179 to Modern Mechanical Inc., Kanata, for the upgrades to the existing Glen Cairn Pumping Station, for a total contract provision of $875,688;

2. The increase in scope to Contract No. CC-4230 with J.L. Richards & Associates Limited, Ottawa, to include contract administration and construction inspection services, in the amount of $50,611, bringing the revised total contract provision to $165,611.

Pickard Environmental Centre to Eaglebrook Environment, Mississauga, for a total contract provision of $386,059 for the period of 15 October 1996 to 14 October 1997, with a provision to extend the contract two (2) additional 12 month periods subject to satisfactory performance and acceptable terms and conditions.

1. The award of Contract CS-6129 to Sewer-Matic Drain Services Ltd., Gloucester, for the relining of the Cave Creek Collector Sewer from Armstrong Street to Scott Street, for a total contract provision of $2,064,553.55;

2. Funds in the amount of $1,150,000 to be transferred from the Sewer Depreciation Reserve Fund to increase project authority for the Collector Sewers Rehabilitation Programme from $2,335,000 to $3,485,000.

That the Corporate Services and Economic Development Committee and Council approve:

1. The construction of the Highway 417 westbound shoulder bus lane from Moodie Drive to Eagleson Road and the construction of the widening of the Jeanne D'Arc Boulevard westbound on-ramp to Highway 17 at an estimated cost of $1,577,600;

2. Entering into an agreement with the Ministry of Transportation of Ontario for the construction of the Highway 417 westbound shoulder bus lane and the Jeanne D'Arc Boulevard westbound ramp modification;

3. The transfer of funds in the amount of $800,000 from Central Area Transitway Interim Improvements (942-30609) to Transit Priority Measures (942-30630).
