TERMS OF REFERENCE
To prepare the annual budget for submission to City Council.
To establish rules for the use of libraries and facilities under its control
including the imposition of fines for breach of these rules.
To ensure efficient library service.
To deal with administrative matters including hiring of staff, providing
benefits, etc.
To maintain and purchase property and sell or lease surplus property with
the approval of City Council.

2 members representing the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board
1 member representing the Ottawa-Carleton Catholic School Board
1 member of City Council
7 members of the general public
